We have BIG plans for India. We desire to spend a significant amount of time there to build relationships and create opportunities to share our lives and skills with the people of India. We would greatly desire to take some of our friends and supporters there with us. In order to do that and support our work in country we would require building a "base of operations".

Along those lines we have already acquired property and cleared it, constructed a new compound wall, dug a new well, built new water tank, and have planted various crop and decorative plants there for the future. We have found contractors and have tentative designs, but we still need to construct a building.

Estimates for ground floor construction are $54,000 (USD) for a 3 bedroom/3 bath house. We desire to build on top of that a second floor which would have 2 bedrooms each with their own bathroom, a great room with a kitchenette, and a terrace. Estimates for this construction are $20,000 (USD).

In addition to the building construction there would also be power and internet issues, septic installation, putting down parking space and a driveway to name a few.
